The 32nd ASEAN-China Senior Officials’ Consultation convened today in Kuala Lumpur. The Meeting reviewed the progress of ASEAN–China relations and discussed future cooperation, particularly in light of the 5th anniversary of the ASEAN–China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) this year. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening collaboration across all pillars of the ASEAN Community, including through the implementation of the ASEAN–China Plan of Action 2026–2030 to advance the CSP. Both sides also exchanged views on regional and international developments of common interest and concern, with a view to enhancing collaboration to contribute to regional peace, stability, prosperity, and resilience.
