Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today attended the commemoration of the 24th Anniversary of the Restoration of Independence of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, in Dili. The occasion reflected Timor-Leste’s remarkable journey of peace, stability, prosperity, resilience, nation-building, and progress, as well as its continued commitment to regional cooperation and its pivotal role within the ASEAN family as the newest member state of ASEAN.
