H.E. Satvinder Singh, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for the AEC, met with H.E. Ambra Dickie, Ambassador of Canada to ASEAN, during the Courtesy Meeting and Launch of the CANSAFE Initiative on 20 April 2026 at ASEAN Headquarters, Jakarta. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening ASEAN–Canada cooperation and expressed confidence that CANSAFE will enhance food safety, strengthen supply chain resilience, and build trust in regional and global agri-food systems amid growing global challenges.
