Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today participated in the 15th ASEAN Plus Three Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime (15th AMMTC + 3) Consultation held in Melaka, Malaysia, with Timor-Leste attending as Observer. The Consultation exchanged views on strengthening ASEAN Plus Three (APT) cooperation in addressing transnational crime. The Consultation noted the ongoing implementation of the SOMTC + 3 Work Plan on Cooperation to Combat Transnational Crime (2024-2027) and the DGICM + 3 Work Programme (2023-2027), and encouraged closer collaboration in implementing practical initiatives and activities that would benefit all parties and enhance regional security.
